One of the biggest speedrun courses in Fornite just got Gigafast with Sky Broadband

Sky wanted to drive significant awareness in market of their new fastest game changing speed product. Cut through with an evolved media & creative that builds on the success of Ultrafast+. Gaining effective national cover with upweighted media in Virgin Media & Fibre To The Property areas. The Fortnite Deathrun Gigafast Speed Race activation represents the "10" strand of Sky Broadband's 70 / 20 / 10 approach to building its marketing campaigns with 10% being new marketing channels/technology that they have not explored before.

We proposed a takeover of a new and popular level "200 Level Default Deathrun" in Fortnite, and a virtual race for gamers, where the winner would not only win £5,000 GAME vouchers, but also have the unique prize of racing a famous YouTuber in the final. The course itself was tailored specifically for Sky Broadband, with "Gigafast Zones" to allow players to achieve their fastest speeds ever on the course.
